I’ve been teaching piano since 2012, and one of my favorite things is helping students discover that learning music can be something they genuinely look forward to.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and free to be themselves. My lessons are patient, positive and tailored to the individual — because no two students learn in quite the same way.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Alongside teaching, I have years of experience performing as a singer, actor and comedian, and I bring my love of music and laughter into every lesson.
I began teaching piano in 2012 and quickly discovered how much I enjoy helping students develop not only their musical skills, but their confidence and independence too.
For me, success isn’t about rushing through books or reaching a particular level by a particular time. It’s about helping each student build a strong foundation, enjoy the process and become someone who feels at home making music.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ms. Alison is a great role model and a fantastic piano teacher I wished I'd found as a young girl. Our daughter looks forward to Ms. Alison's weekly call for piano lessons. I watch my daughter as she enthusiastically engages in each lesson. I love Ms. Alison’s energy, spirit, humor, kindness, patience and her teaching methods. Ms. Alison is amazing with children and creates an environment that is friendly and inspiring. She organizes recitals to encourage practice and also to improve their confidence.
